These Calorie Off Fat Busters stockings claim to burn calories. The high socks version burns 399 calories per hour, and the pantyhose version burns 416 calories per hour. I didn't look at the fine print, but maybe you need to run -- fast -- while wearing them.

Wow that's amazing! I wonder if it really works.

By my calculations, if the claims are true, you could wear these 12 hours a day, every day, eat normally, and still lose 40 pounds per month.

40 pounds in a month...wow. I wonder how the pantyhose works, and where you could purchase it? Probably somewhere in Japan.

I was joking of course! If what they say is true (400 calories an hour), 40 pounds would be accurate. But no way does wearing stockings burn any calories.

The calories we usually talk about in diets are Kcals, or Calorie (capital C), which is the amount of heat (energy) needed to increase the temperature of one kg of water by 1 °C, it is exactly 1000 small calories, or about 4.184 kjoules.
I'm just guessing here but these socks probably heat you up? ![]() I prefer the old fashion way, dieting and exercising.. ![]() |

Somehow I just can't put a whole lot of stock in hosiery that makes you lose weight. If it was that easy everyone would be skinny.

A very smart and diplomatic answer. It’s really appreciable and generous.
Is the grapefruit diet the same as a grapefruit juice cleanse? |
