Very busy day, I've managed to eat some healthy food at work but it was really hard to look at my workmates eating french fries & burgers (it smelled so good! :() but once I got home I felt proud of myself for resisting the temptation :D

Have a great week everyone!

My Morning Banana Diet Day # 3 (January 11th, 2009)

Weight: Forgot to weight myself this morning *d'oh*! I've realized that after finishing my lunch meal...:(
I'll make sure not to forget tomorrow ^^

Breakfast (10:45 a.m.)

2 bananas (as usual)
250 ml of room temperature water

Lunch (2 p.m.)

I went to a Vietnamese restaurant with a friend, and this is what I've ordered:
-Soup (forgot the name)
-grilled beef & shrimp with vermicelli

but no dessert... (of course )

Snack (4 p.m.)

1 Orange & grapes

Dinner (6:30 p.m.)

- Tofu stir fry

*I'll prepare a thermos like yesterday, but this time I'm trying mint tea (use fresh mint, it's really good!)

Thoughts and Feelings:

it's almost 6:30 pm, and I don't feel hungry at all... I can't believe the difference! Before I started this diet I wouldn't eat breakfast but then I would get really hungry for lunch time, then crave something really sweet (cakes, cookies, soda..) around 4-6, and eat dinner around 9-10 pm until I feel stuffed...
Hope I'll never go back to my old habits!

My Morning Banana Diet Day #2 (January 10th, 2009)

Weight: 160 pounds!!
I can't believe I've already lost 3 pounds, ( I wonder if something is wrong with my scale... sounds too good to be true lol)

Breakfast (10:30 a.m.)

2 bananas (felt full like yesterday)
250 ml of room temperature water

Lunch (1:30 p.m.)

- 1 Bowl of rice
- Vegetable stir fry with shrimps (pretty easy to make, I've found so many cool recipes on youtube ^^ maybe i'll post some links later)

Snack (3:30 p.m.)

Apple & kiwi, and tea (ginger & honey)

Dinner (06:30 p.m.)

- Bowl of rice with kimchee
- Steamed vegetables
- 2 sole fillets with lemon

Thoughts and Feelings:
When I stopped eating around 6 o'clock yesterday, I prepared a big thermos of Jasmin tea
-I just put enough tea to get a light flavor, you don't wanna drink something strong at night because you won't be able to sleep after that :( (tea contains theine = cafeine)
So I kept drinking hot tea until 9-10 pm, while watching tv, drinking tea kept my hands busy and I think that really helped because I usually start craving something as soon as I start start lazing around :p

Have a great weekend!

Congratulations! I'm a newbie but already find that sticking to this is pretty easy. I love bananas and the healthier fare of food is really tastey! I've lost 3 lbs my first week but have a long way to go (70 lbs to lose). I think the key to the success is fruits, veggies, water, a little something sweet if you need it and then enough sleep - and not to forget the smaller portions. Good Luck!

Lilo,

Good job!!!! I feel the way you do also I'm into day eight and I feel as though I'm very use to this diet, it hardly feels like a diet at all. I'm amazed at how full I feel in the morning and maintain that feeling until noon time and on into the dinner hour. I keep saying this is the diet for me!!!!!
