Well I had to completly dump the MBD, about 3 weeks ago due to the chornic issue of constipation. I went about 3 weeks ago and had a colonic and it was the best thing I could have done for myself, I found out that Bananas have lots of potassium (as I knew this) but what I did not realize is that they can cause constipation and I was suffering. I'm only having 1/2 of a banana now in the morning and not every morning, as my sytem is so sensative and any thing will cause me to not have a regular bowel movement, medication, change in my rest habits or traveling. So needless to say I'm giving up on the MBD as it is not for me, and I'm sticking to my better eating habits (eating raw) and eating lots of fish and chicken (baked or broiled) and getting my daily exercise at least 4 days a week. I will be checking the Blogs now an then to see how other are doing with the MBD. Good Luck to all of you MBD fans.:)

Well I wrapped up week 6 not to good, over the weekend I had a lot of work going on at my house and felt the need to eat chips, cookies and lots of other junk:confused:. Week 7 new week and I started Monday morning back on track with the Gym and my morning Banana, so I'm not going to beat myself up about the weekend. The weight lose is still happening I just need to get back on track and stay on it. I'm still having an issue with my bowels not mving every day and when they do I have to take something so I not sure what this is all about, my system adjusting or the change of diet. I'm monitoring that issue and hoping this will pass soon. Well I will update about this week 7 on Friday.:cool:

Well it's Monday the beginning of the week and I'm still holding true to the MOB Diet. I've eaten more sweets over this past weekendthan usual, I'm still seeing improving in how my clothes are fitting me and that a good thing. My only issue is that I'm not voiding as often as I feel I should, I know that eating less but I just feel that I need to be going to he bathroom more. Well I will write more by the weeks end about my progress this 6th week into the MOB Diet. Chow:):):)

Well I'm into week 5 and everything is really going quite well, I'm having some issue with constipation (but this has always been an issue with me whenever I've made changes to my eating habits so I will need to find a way to resolve this issue). But as far my weight loss it has been really great, again I do not own a scale so the number of lbs that I lost is unknown to me but the way I look and feel in my clothes tells me the story that I want to have a happy ending too. I wore a pair of black slacks on yesterday that a few months ago I could get them on but they look a mess on me and I felt uncomfortable in them. Being a woman of my age I cannot stand to wear something and 1st know that it does not look good on me and 2nd it does not feel good while I'm wearing it. I'm not sure what I want as a goal weight, I feel that I will Brick Wall at some point, but I'm getting to the gym regularly and as soon as the weather gets warmer I will be back in the park onthe walking trail (that's what I love most). My appetitite it truly been curbed and I don't get hungry throught the midmorning or mid evening, I'm eating smaller portions of food, so I really don't deny myself anything, I just don't have need to eat alot. Well I'm feeling good and looking good and plan to eat a nice dinner this Vday. :p

Well it's Thursday of week 4 and I'm doing really quite well, getting to Gyn and doing 1.5 miles on the Treadmill, getting some time in on the Eliptical machine, and doing my lower body weight, I do my upper body at home. On Wednesday morning I skipped having the Banana for Breakfast and had a bowl of Oatmeal (just was not feeling like eating a Banana). I think it helps to have something diffrent now and then to keep from getting burned out on the Banana, also I keep in mind I can subsitute another fruit sometimes in the palce of the MOB. But I'm feeling goog and my clothes are looking better and better on me. I am having some problem with the frequency of a bowel movement :eek: and may need to explore that issue a little more. I will up date my progress for week 4 on Sunday or Monday. Everybody keep you good work.:)
