[B]Bowel Movements:[/B] 1
[B]Exercise:[/B] Pushups, Door pull ups, hamstring presses, squat-thrusts, crunches, squats, wall squats 1 set of 15 each

[B]Breakfast[/B] (7:35 a.m.)

1 banana
12 ounces water

[B]Lunch[/B] (11:30 a.m.)

1cup rice with hot pepper paste
2 cups miso soup

[B]Snack[/B] (3:00 p.m.)
½ cup blackberries


[B]Dinner[/B] (6:00 p.m.)
Mashed Potatoes
½ strip steak, broiled
Boiled carrots



[B]Evening Snack[/B] (08:00 p.m.)
2 pieces of Ferrero Rocher candy



[B]Thoughts and feelings[/B]

Starting over AGAIN. For the third time. This time I just got too lazy and decided to eat like mad and not exercise. Third time’s a charm they say. For the first time I actually had dessert.

First Day - November 17, 2008

I started the banana diet today. I had two bananas and a glass of water for breakfast. I was hungry mid-morning so I ate a couple of handfuls of Craisins. For lunch I had some leftover spaghetti pie. I forgot about drinking water with my meals and instead had a diet coke. Hopefully I won't do that again.

Starting tomorrow with the Morning Banana Diet

[FONT=Tahoma][SIZE=3][COLOR=#008000]So... tomorrow is the big day even though in Italian we have a saying: "[COLOR=red]Nè di Venere nè di Marte non si sposa e non si parte[/COLOR]" meaning that you shouldn't start things on Tuesday or Friday because it brings bad luck! We will see... who wants to challenge the fate with me! I want to lose 5 kilos!! ^_^[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

Day 17--Down around 5.5 lbs

I weighed in at 160.8 this morning :-) Here's kind of what I've been eating the past 24 days:

[B]Breakfast:[/B] 1 banana and water

[B]Lunch:[/B] 45 calorie hot dog on a wheat bun (155 calories); baked chips (probably 120 cals worth); and maybe a little fruit. Sometimes I'll have a salad with chicken (Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad a McDonald's is my favorite!)

Dinner:[/B] Whatever I feed my family.

[B]Snacks:[/B] About 10 almonds per day; sometimes a yogurt or some small treat.

I try to stop the eating by 8 although I have eaten after that a few times. I've been going to bed by midnight. I only drink water (no soda, no coffee, no alcohol, etc.).

I do exercise--about an hour 4-5 days per week. I mostly walk and jog; do some light weight training :-)

so i was supposed to start fri, but the things i ate rest of the day wasnt good..so i ended up gaining
same went for saturday.
so today, im going to stick strictly to the diet.

[B]my modified diet:[/B]
morning: banana
afternoon: no lunch, just a small snack
dinner: whatever i want but still small portion


as of today: [B]119.2 pounds[/B]

coffee before banana?

What if you have a cup of coffee first thing in the am, wait 30 min, and then have the banana & water? Anybody tried this? Will it interfere w/ the weight loss?

ate breakfast. lunch. no dinner
big stomachache-> lost some pounds probably water weight.

5:30pm
119.2 pounds
after bathroom: 118.4 pounds
24.5% body fat

banana diet starting tomorrow!

Sounds too easy!!

OK, I'm going to try this. It just sounds too easy. I've tried so many other diets that haven't worked, I have to keep this a secret. 10lbs is all I need to lose and it has been impossible up till now. Any advise out there for the first week or so on this, other than the basic rules of the diet?
