Day 6

It's Tuesday morning and I am up and ready to "re-start" my program. I did slip a little yesterday. For dinner I had a glass of chocolate soymilk with dinner (an omelet w/veggies & cheese), but I really needed that chocolate and milk fix. I had a full day at work learning my new computer and had a headache from all the. I know that is no excuse, but that's what I did and why.

Today - a new day and fresh start. I did weigh myself this morning and did not do any damage, but that isn't my passport to keep messing up. I will be back on track today.

Aimless start, but aiming for success

I started a few days ago after reading about the diet in Women's World magazine at the checkout line. I didn't know the rules til tonight. So, I simply ate the banana for breakfast - along with my usual cereal or glass of milk. Then went about my day. I did not weigh in, and I do not intend to. The # on the scale has never helped me achieve weight loss. Although progress is measured there, it always seem that the # of lbs loss is not in proportion to my effort. I will be tied to the process, not the result (a philosophy I learned in Sales training - basically, keep repeating a script, not expecting success each time, but you'll get better at it and eventually you will have more success than failure).

So, I estimated my start weight, and I don't plan to chime in with 'finished week 1 and X lbs lost'. To me, that's just not rewarding. And I also know that a week is a blink of an eye. We want to see huge progress each week (or each day!), and when it doesn't happen, we are disappointed. I know that if I even lost 1 lb/week, it would be about 1 year to get to my goal weight. To me, 1 year is not a long time!

Anyway, this really sounds like a plan that I can do. The rules are simple. The change for me will be reducing my milk consumption. Also, drinking water @ room temp and sip-by-sip. I'll have to stop drinking soda, too. But, I don't think that will be too hard.

Dont Know if it works

THis is my 2nd week , i dont know if it works,i feel okey but the weight is still the same

Breakfast (6:30a.M)
2 banana
3 glasses of water

mid morning snack 9a.m
coffee & toast bread

Lunch (11:30)
1/4 c rice

dinner (5:30)

Any suggest i really need to lost weight im now 145lbs. i have scoliosis so i need to trim down upto 110

Day 103

I've lost another pound and was at 155.2 today.

I still am sticking to the ONE banana although I get hungry after exercising and probably should eat more.

I didn't exercise on Friday (and I usually don't on the weekends) but exercised 4 days and 2 nights (for 6 workouts).

I am still not following the "no dessert" rule...arghh! I really need to give up sugar but it is so hard for me.

I plan on exercising now and will blog more soon.

Week 2 (Lost 7 lbs Week 1)

I am still enjoying eating this way and getting good results.

So far have lost 7 lbs the first week. I'm going to start walking on my treadmill this week to add to it. My food plan for today is

B- 2 bananas 1 12 oz bottle water

L - Turkey sandwich with lettuce tomato, 1 tsp Lite Mayo - 1 oz Baked chips - 1 apple

S - 1 cup lite yogurt mixed with 1/3 cup cereal (rice crispies)

D - 3 ozs chicken - 2 1/2 c salad with 2 Tbs Lite dressing - 1/4 c fat free shredded cheese

Drinks - Water, 2 cups coffee, 3 diet cokes

bedtime - 10:00 pm (hopefully)

First Monday of the Diet

Today is my first Monday of the MoBaD (I like that acronym). Anyway, I try not to eat anything until I get to work. So I have my breakfast, lunch and snack packed and ready to go. Today, however, after reading over the rules a bit more, I have packed a morning snack as well. It's only 2 oz of chicken, but the protein may help me. I find myself watching the clock around 10am until I can get away to eat lunch - I don't want to do that. I want to be thinking of anything BUT lunch.

I have been succeeding on eating slower, and I make myself concentrate on what I am eating. I am also working on putting the fork down between bites rather than "guarding it with my life" so to speak.

Another thing - after this first week, I am going to try very hard to only weigh myself once a week. I know from past experiences that weighing every day could be very discouraging because of the fluctuating scale. Like Wynonna Judd says in the alli commercial - I am more than a number on the scale!

Day 4

This is going okay for me. I like that I don't have to measure, weigh, keep track (kind of) about what I am eating. This is easy for me, especially over the weekend. During the work week, it seemed hard - but it was my first 2 days. I will have to do this a little different as I am used to eating more times - but smaller portions - throughout the I am thinking that the 2 bananas will have to not be eaten one with water, then eat another later with more water. I keep a bottle or two with me all the time, and at my one office, they have a cooler, so I can refill the bottles throughout the day.

I have also decidedly slowed down my eating - and I think that helps. My husband eats slowly - so my goal is to be the last one eating. :)

day 1 again

OKayyy. I failed the diet.
I get so hungry at night and I cant help it, I ate a lot of stuff, algo yesterday went to a friends house and we ate a lot of sweets and crap. meh.

Im starting today again . I cant do thiiis :(:(:(:(:(

Banana Diet

This is my third day of the diet. I weighed on Wednesday night before going to bed, just to see where I was. Then I weighed on Thursday morning before dressing for the day. I know that mornings are the best time to weigh in.

I have not really done any exercising - but I want to get into a routine. I have no excuses, I have a treadmill and walking DVD's. Just making the time to be downstairs in the basement as that is where the machine is.
