Day 4

Well here i am on the morning of day 4, i checked my weight yesterday and of coarse there was no difference yet, couldn't help but hope. I think i may be one of those people who if they do not get immediate results with anything i do i get less enthused. But knowing that this is the way i am helps me to look past that and just keep moving. It would be helpful though if there before some before and after pics i could see. I had a few glasses of milk yesterday, couldn't help myself, and it was my sons third birthday and so i had a piece of cake too, but it was more like a muffin with no icing because i realized too late that we had run out of icing sugar...

Anyways, i guess i should start some form of exercise. But i've got two kids so i can't just run off the gym and i live in the woods practically so theres cougars and i don't like walking by myself. And its hard to exercize when the kids are awake because they just jump on me! grrrr.....i'll figure out.....

It was just yesterday that we (I and my wife ) completed the GM Diet .It was more of a body cleansing mechanism and so we did not weigh ourselves nor did we go through any clorie count before or after the diet .But tomorrow onwards I shall be going on the BANANA diet and hence I have subscribed to this forum .I am 79 Kgs in weight and wish to lose atleast 5 kgs through this diet .Lets see how soon can this be !!!
Will continue tomorrow ...till then CHOW !!!

1st day of banana diet....

Hi ....

Im gonna start banana diet from today onwards....

Now my weight is 64Kgs..
And my goal is to reach 56kg,,,
(hope i will able to reach it:confused:)

So here we go....

breakfast; 2 bananas, and a glass of water..

Lunch; 1 rice ball...and one chinese soup, two oranges...

At 4.30pm.; I had some cutlets with bread , and soup..(normally this is for my dinner)

At 8.p.m.; i had a cup of tea...

So this is the first day....lets see whats going to happen.....

Very busy day, I've managed to eat some healthy food at work but it was really hard to look at my workmates eating french fries & burgers (it smelled so good! :() [/COLOR][/COLOR]but once I got home I felt proud of myself for resisting the temptation :D

it's almost 6:30 pm, and I don't feel hungry at all... I can't believe the difference! Before I started this diet I wouldn't eat breakfast but then I would get really hungry for lunch time, then crave something really sweet (cakes, cookies, soda..) around 4-6, and eat dinner around 9-10 pm until I feel stuffed[/COLOR][/COLOR][COLOR=black]...
Hope I'll never go back to my old habits!

So i went to bed earlier last night, wll i got in bed at Midnight, but didn't lay there for hours, maybe just one hour, not sure. But anyways, when my alarm woke me up at 8am i only hit the snooze till 8:30 then threw myself in the shower to drown myself awake.

Currently chewing my banana as we speak...oh...now opening banana no.2 :D

Ok, i'm not used to being out of bed this early, i guess i'll just write a chapter of my book and i'll update this later this evening to tell you how my day went!

Its official, the Banana's have arrived! I live a 40 minute drive to the nearest grocery store (country store doesn't have produce), and i don't have a car, so my aunt picked some up for me today, yay!(chew chew chew) Am i aloud to eat as many banana's as i want all day? Or do i have to eat only at the scheduled times? hmmm...:confused: I had a tough time going to bed "early" last night. I got in bed at 12:09 and layed there until about 3am before i finally fell asleep. Of coarse it didn't help that my boyfriend was up until 5am playing his computer war games and chatting with skype the whole time. Everytime i thought i was near sleep he would burst out laughing or start shouting orders to his team mates about war type things :mad:.

I set my alarm for 8am and until 9:15am i hit the snooze button when it went off every 5 minutes, i finally dragged myself from bed and turned the lights on to assault my eyes into wakefulness. :eek:

I didn't have any banana's this morning, so before i had my morning tea, i ate 2 apples and a glass and a half of warm water, being sure to chew well of coarse. I discovered that apples have a lot of skin, as i kept finding pieces of it hiding in my mouth for a while. Then i had my tea, 1 tsp brown sugar, 1 splash whole milk. I drink decaf. (Ever since i started drinking decaf, my consumption of tea over the past year has dwindled to "maybe" one or two tea's a day, and often none at all. I don't drink coffee.)

For lunch i had a bowl of veggie soup. For snack i had a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich and another apple, with more water.

And just now, i had another apple and half a banana....and more water. warm of coarse. I figure i'll just have rice for dinner, cause i don't really have anything else thats easy and good for me other than more fruit, outmeal, more pb&j's and more soup....

I don't think i'm good at making rice, its always over or under cooked. I have two types in the house, one is calrose, which i under cook everytime! And the other, well i can't remember what its called right now, but my aunt says that they use it for putting in rolls cause its kinda sticky, i make this one cause i screw it up the least. I just throw in half and onion sliced, a few cloves of minced garlic, some soy sauce and a package of onion soup mix. When its done i melt a tbsp of butter in it. Voila, Dinner!

Well its 5:30pm, better get cooking, cause i have to soak the rice for 30 minutes before i cook it. Maybe, just MAYBE i'll get to sleep before Midnight......;)

Day 73

Okay...So I kind of followed the diet during the holidays (well, I ate the banana at least LOL). I think I had only gained about 1 lb. I also celebrated a birthday and had some cake and ice cream. I'm probably eating a few more sweets than I should and REALLY need to eat more vegetables.

So far today I had:

Breakfast: 1 banana and water

Lunch: Turkey Burger on a whole wheat bun with tomato, onion, and BBQ sauce. I also ate an orange.

I'm CRAVING a dark chocolate mint that I am saving for 3 PM and hope I can get over the craving. I am really full after eating the orange and need to use MIND over MATTER.

I know I will be having pizza and salad tonight and will try to stick with just ONE piece of pizza.

Right now I am at 158.4; that's only down .25 a lb since my last entry but at least I am going in the right direction.

I have a lot going on in my life that is messing with my normal eating and exercising (although I am still getting in some exercise).

So, I should be back on a normal schedule in about 2 weeks and will rededicate myself to following the diet to a "T" or rather a "B." ;)

When I stopped eating around 6 o'clock yesterday, I prepared a big thermos of Jasmin tea
-I just put enough tea to get a light flavor, you don't wanna drink something strong at night because you won't be able to sleep after that :( (tea contains theine = cafeine)
So I kept drinking hot tea until 9-10 pm, while watching tv, drinking tea kept my hands busy and I think that really helped because I usually start craving something as soon as I start start lazing around :p

First day!

Hello Folks!

So, this is my first "official" day on the MoBa Diet. I say "official" with quotation marks because during summer '07, I lost 6.8kg (15lbs) in 28 days...while unintentionally on a modified MoBa diet! Of course, I worked out moderately for an hour with my mom (she has osteoporosis) everyday (nothing fancy, mostly fast-paced walking...which is my exercise of choice). I should note that I exercise on a regular basis anyway.

I had Special K cereal and a banana for breakfast everyday with strong black coffee. I drank water throughout the day: 8-10 cups. The rest of my meals weren't out of my ordinary diet of salad or sandwich for lunch and for dinner rice and fish with kimchi and some kind of stew. For a snack, I would have another banana or two. I did occasionally have a dessert of malasadas or mochi.

I went from 120 to 105. SO, I think it's safe to say that bananas work!

This time around, though, I'm going to stick to the MoBa rules to test the difference. :p

For exercise, I'm still working out everyday, but I'm also testing out a home fitness program called P90X. It's pretty intense and I already feel the difference. We'll see how different the results are.
