Day 6

(I had been unable to access this website for days 4 and 5 - problem with server?)

Didn't eat any bananas today - had an all-day business trip. Will resume tomorrow.

Day 3

Breakfast: Banana, cereal

Lunch: Soup, salad with chicken

Snack: Pistachios

Dinner: Chicken and dumplings

Late evening dessert: Chocolate and peanut butter dessert bars :o

Exercise: Walked in the neighborhood, tossed football. (Did the same thing on days 1 and 2.)

Need to be more disciplined with the sweets!

Day 2

Breakfast: 1 banana, small bottle of water

Mid morning snack: small granola bar, small piece of cheesecake (yes, I cheated!):(

Lunch: Cream of chicken soup, stuffing

Afternoon snack: small granola bar, pistachios (too many)

Dinner: Flounder fillet, potato salad

Probably ate too much but I was hungry!

Day 1

So far have stuck to the diet. For afternoon snack had a small bowl of cereal and some pistachios - maybe a little more than acceptable! Plan to have dinner around 6:00 and nothing thereafter.

Had a headache this afternoon but getting some relief with Ibuprofen. Don't think the headache was related to the diet since I haven't restricted myself much! But could be related to caffiene withdrawal - I usually drink tons of strong tea but only on my second cup right now.

Going to Try

I'm going to try this banana diet. I had not heard about it until today, but I happen to eat a banana at work every day around mid-morning for a snack anyway. So I may as well just have it first thing as my breakfast and follow the other rules of the MBD and see how it goes! The rules are pretty easy so I think I can stick to it. I'll start tomorrow. My goal would be to lose around 20 pounds.
