new on this, day 1

well i got up this morn and went to the store and got 2 bananas and water and ate them on my way to work. felt full bu not stuffed. around 11 am i am usually starving but i was still full. by 12 i had a salad and at 1 i had half a sandwhich and felt so full. usually i can eat alot more. then i got home aT 2 and ate some icecream at 3 then a taco salad at 530. its now 630 and i amso full still. usually i want to keep eating all nite. so i am done for the nite, i will not eat anything else all nite. hopefully this will work. i love it so far!!! i feel good ancd i feel full for once. amazing!!!!:eek: be back tomorrow.

Good start, although I think ice cream is frowned upon on this diet. Keep up the good work.

Yes, Hamachi (the diet's original popularizer) didn't really approve of ice cream, which surprised me considering how tiny ice cream cups and treats are in Japan. They generally range from 80 calories up to 250. Not really any more than the chocolate Hamachi ate.

I think it's worthwhile to experiment to figure out which of the rules are really necessary, and which were just one's guy's biases.
