I will start mid-week

Posted October 20th, 2008 at 09:28 PM by tinafunk
It is too late for me to get the bananas for in the morning, but I definitely plan to start the diet on Wednesday.
Besides the diet, I plan to start exercising again. I have the video at home for T-TAPP, yet plan to follow the videos at the on-line site
I decided to place this in my blog for easy access. I will be back to blog on Wednesday.

Learned About This Diet Today

Posted October 20th, 2008 at 05:43 PM by
I heard about this diet on the radio on my way to work this morning. I've been successful with weight watchers but it's a lot of work. I'm going to start this in the morning. Is it really just a bananna and warm water in the morning and then eat what ever you want at the other two meals. What about during the day? can you drink diet soda?

Breakfast: 1 banana, small bottle of water

Mid morning snack: small granola bar, small piece of cheesecake (yes, I cheated!):(

Lunch: Cream of chicken soup, stuffing

Afternoon snack: small granola bar, pistachios (too many)

Dinner: Flounder fillet, potato salad

Probably ate too much but I was hungry!

And so it begins...

Well, I listened to the radio this morning, and they were chatting about this "new" MoBa diet. I was intrigued and decided to give it a try. I'm off to the grocery store to purchase whatever remaining bananas they might have. It is my goal to lose 50 lbs... and exercise has never been my cup of tea. We will see how this goes! Fingers crossed, please!! :D

First day

Posted October 20th, 2008 at 01:55 PM by AmandaRose
Well, today is my first day on the banana diet. Not too much to say so far. I still need to make some adjustments to get it right. I did have my banana this morning so there's something. But I usually don't eat lunch at work and I eat my dinners late so that is something I will need to work on. Hopefully I will be able to get into a schedule and stick with it.

Banana fun!

Posted October 20th, 2008 at 11:45 AM by bethydomin
I don't know why I decided to start this diet.. But bananas are relatively cheap and I practically eat this way anyway.. I'm going to have my own version of this diet as well.
Along with bananas in the morning, I will add an hour of exercise everyday, or at least 5 days a week for 1 month. I am going to start tomorrow on this. I am not going to eat more then a small plateful of food at every meal, and my snacks will have no sugar or refined carbs.
I will not eat after 9pm at all.
and if I get sick of bananas, I will make a smoothie out of bananas and berries for the morning.
I'm going to try and ditch diet soda as well... TRY is the keyword XD

Here we go!!!

Posted October 20th, 2008 at 07:21 AM by
Okay so like many...I saw the Morning Banana Diet on Yahoo. And I have to try this!!! I purchased my bananas yesterday and I am preparing myself to start this lovely Monday morning. I am hoping to get on daily and post as much feedback as possible. thing. I hate bananas!!! I know it sounds very harsh...however texture is a thing with me. I have never been able to eat them...but things are a changing....I am hoping to take a liking to this yellow fruit. Wish me luck!!! I really want to reap the benefits of this diet.....I have a Marine Corp Ball that I need to attend on Nov. 11th. Does anyone know if cardio is okay with this diet???

Best of luck to all.
