Degree of care, tariffs and performance evaluation index system

Tariff protection degree is to point to protect domestic production and

tariff in market of the size of the role.
As countries implement tariff protection of trade policy measures, since

countries one of import and export commodity structure, the focus of the

different different protection, leading to even the same tariff levels in

different countries production and market of domestic protection is not

the same. Therefore, we need to have a comprehensive assessment tariff

protection degree of index system. Usually use tariff BaoHuLv name,

effective BaoHuLv and tariff structure indexes, such as the comprehensive

measure to protect the size of one country tariff level.

1. Tariff levels

Tariff levels (tariff level) is to point to a national average of import

tax rate with tariff. Can be roughly measure is a national import duties

or the degree of protection, it is also a country attend trade agreement

negotiations customs problems must be solved. For example, in gatt

negotiations, tariff cuts will often tariff levels as more countries

tariffs and cut tariffs on the index. Tariff calculation, can through the

two methods of calculating the average gain simple method and weighted

average method.

Simple average method according to the tax rate is one country tariffs

(legal rate) to calculate, namely whether every tax items of the actual

import quantity, according to the number of tax items only tariffs for

its rate of the arithmetic mean because many of tariffs. High tax rates

of the taxes is prohibitive tariffs, little or no relevant goods import,

and some of the import a lot of goods is zero tax or tax-free. Therefore,

the calculation method of the important tax items will trade and the

secondary tax items are in the same weight calculation, is clearly

unreasonable. Because simple average method can't truthfully report the

one country tariff levels, so is seldom used.

The weighted average method is to use the number of imported goods or

prices as a weighted function to average. According to statistics caliber

or more range of different, can divide again for a full of the weighted

average method and the sample of the weighted average method two kinds.

(1) the sum of the weighted average method, that is, according to a

period of import duties on the total amount of all imports value. A

percentage of the total value of formulas for the

Tariff levels = x 100%

In this calculation method, if one country in tariffs exempt items, more

calculated value is low, hard to see some tax rate. So the discretion of

the goods, the other a kind of method is according to import tax has the

percentage of their gross commodities import tax calculation, this

method, the numerical method than the above a few higher. Computation

Come on, Irene!

Today I ate 1 banana and drank 2 glasses of water. I'll probably post later what I ate today (since it's still morning.)

So I'm not sure about people outside the US but where I live, Hurricane Irene is about to come/destroy us all. And so many residents have been preparing/evacuating their homes. Luckily, I didn't have to evacate and I'm far. If I can manage to get through this whole hurricane thing and STILL eat healthily, I am going to be one happy camper. (^_^) You see, we can't exactly COOK so I have to resort to the following "healthy" choices: fiber bars, cereal, a sandwhich of some sort, or make some thing with a tortilla.

So I couldn't eat until 6pm. (I ate breakfast at 9am.) When I did, I basically made a wrap with a mixture of low cal cream cheese, garlic, onions, turmeric, cumin seed powder, and garlic powder and spread it in a tortilla. And I drank 6 more glasses of water. I did a few magazine excercises. Hurricane Irene is coming up here tonight so I may not update for a while. (18 hour hurricanes, flodding, 100 mph wind, and 10 in rain tends to cause some ruckus.)

First day...

Posted August 26th, 2011 at 11:03 AM by kawaiimint
I had a banana for breakfast with room temperature water... I hate the water part...

I didn't go jogging so I danced instead for about an hour

Then I had green tea followed by a pot of 0% fat yoghurt for snack time

I had two slices of wholemeal toast with low fat magarine + a few spoonfulls of rice for lunch. followed by another mug of green tea.

So far so good...

This is what I plan to have for dinner tonight at half 6:

-Grilled salmon with a little salt and pepper (a little salt!)
-Green beans and sweet corn
all will be served in small bowls.

Verdict- So far, I'm enjoying being healthy, the banana really kept me going for a long time, I'm loving the MB diet.

I'll be posting my weight loss here every sunday. wish me luck.

Updated August 26th, 2011 at 05:31 PM by bananashorts (To Update?)
Well I just started the Morning Banana Diet today! So far I've eaten 1 banana, drank 2 glasses of water, and took my daily multivitamin. I'm going to wait about 2-3 hours before I excercise. See, I want to find out whether I feel better waiting a few hours before excercising or just eating the banana right before. So today I'm waiting, tomorrow I'm not.

By the way I'm tracking all of my food intake and excercise via Livestrong!

So I didn't exactly eat the best meals, today. (-_-) (Macaroni for lunch and brownies for a snack obviously aren't great choices.) I had a small bowl of a vegetarian version of an Indian dish called keema which is normally minced meat. (But it has soy granules instead.) I'm content (not stuffed but satiated) and didn't exactly eat that many calories (1,060.) I went on the elleptical for about 1 hour.

Join me on this journey!

Posted August 25th, 2011 at 06:01 PM by kawaiimint
OK, so tomorrow I'm starting the banana diet *Yay for bananas!* And I was wondering what I would eat for the rest of the day, and then I thought.. "why not make your meals based on typical japanese meals?" I mean, they do have the lowest rate of obesity right? (3.2%)

-Meals will be based on fish, veggies and yes, rice :D
-I'll drink 3 mugs of green tea (without sugar!) bye-bye fizzy drinks!
-I'll eat small portions from small bowls just like the japanese
-I'll eat with chopsticks meaning I'll eat slower because I'll focus on my food more instead of heaped forks!!
-I'll lay of domino's and KFC... hehe =]

I don't really eat chocolate or crisps because I don't like them :/ so thats not much of a problem

Exercise-wise, I'll try (*try!) and go jogging every morning, and I'll join the netball and hockey clubs when school starts.

Thats pretty much it :)

I'll update as often as possible

Diet Buddy Wanted!

Posted August 12th, 2011 at 04:24 PM by bananashorts
Hello there! I am going to start the Morning Banana Diet tomorrow (I have to go to bed right now.) Since I kinda don't want to do this alone, I'm looking for a diet buddy!

Below is my thread in the Seeking Diet Buddy board in the forums.

Hello there! I am new to this diet and would like to start it, of course with a diet buddy. I don't really care who you are, (although it would be nice if you were a teen like myself.) I'm 5'2 or 157.5cm and 130lbs or about 59kg. I would like to be at 95lbs or 43kg. I will exercise during the diet but my diet buddy doesn't have to.
