So, I just started this diet today, and I was just wondering about the whole banana for breakfast thing. Generally, I do not eat breakfast in the mornings because I don't wake up early enough to do so. I am a college student, and so I don't really find the time to eat until around 11:30. I was wondering how much time before I eat lunch should I eat a banana.

The banana was chosen by Hamachi and Sumiko mostly because it didn't take time or preparation or clean-up to eat, so you could eat it quickly. You really should find a couple minutes earlier in the morning to eat the banana. If you end up not eating breakfast, you could just skip the banana or eat it right before lunch to fill you up a bit.

Yeah, the best thoing of bananas or apples, etc... is that you don't need a fork or a knife to eat it. You simple peel it and eat it, very fast.

Also eating a banana can take 1 minute the most, so you should be able to find a moment to eat it ^^

Regardless of what diet you are doing, you really need to take time to have breakfast, and what could be easier than a banana?

It boosts your metabolism and gives you a good start to the day. Set your alarm clock to get you up a little earlier to make time for your banana breakfast.

I'd like to add to shineey's post that it not only boosts up the metabolism but also gives you a significant boost of energy. believe me I tried it first hand. Also bananas are the best for the job(or apples) and it doesn't take much time. i'd like to suggest if you cold take the banana first thing in the morning when you wake up.

Apart from dieting, one of the medical benefits of bananas is they can be used to fight against intestinal disorders, including ulcers. Bananas neutralize the acidity of gastric juices and also promote healing. Other medical benefits of bananas include aiding in constipation and diarrhea relief, treatment of arthritis, and treatment of anemia. Moreover, bananas contain no fat, sodium, or cholesterol. I enjoy eating ripe bananas. :D

As far as I know, this is the simplest diet I have ever heard of. I even read a few articles about this, and as per my knowledge, you must eat bananas and drink lukewarm water for breakfast. I guess it doesn't matter what time you have your breakfast...it could be at 6 a.m. or 11 a.m. The founder of this diet doesn't really say that you have to give a gap of a few hours after your banana breakfast. I guess you could wait for half an hour to one hour and then have your lunch. I wish you all luck with your diet.
