Eloise Parker of the New York Daily News looks into the Morning Banana Diet (http://www.nydailynews.com/lifestyle/health/2008/10/23/2008-10-23_the_morning_banana_diet_may_be_the_cheap-2.html?page=1), and even puts herself on it for a couple of days.

From the article we learn:

For Ms. Parker, it's an easy diet, but she isn't losing weight

From dietitian Bonnie Taub-Dix, MoBa is "not well-defined or scientifically based" -- and bananas will constipate you

From associate professor of nutrition Lisa Sasson, any claims of metabolism boosting are "preposterous" -- and you'll get cavities

Wow. Tough crowd.

Ms. Parker wonders about the "lack of impressive first-person weight-loss stories." Come on guys! To free her from the burden of learning to read Japanese, post your stories.

One reason why the Morning Banana Diet might not be working for Eloise Parker: She doesn't need to lose any weight. Check out the photos here. (http://www.nydailynews.com/lifestyle/2007/06/24/2007-06-24_katies_cut_for_20.html">Check out the photos here)

Bananas constipate you? Maybe I am just weird but I haven't had that problem. Any one else have a problem with that?

I think AOL and New York Daily News should do a little research before writing any thing. They should have come to this forum and found out for themselves whether this thing works or not.
