I'm a newbie when it comes to banana diet. I'm kinda doing my own thing about it. You see, I weigh 109lbs last friday (in my case, that would be considered as a plus size already since I'm really short for my age), and then yesterday when I checked again it dropped down to 97lbs and 9oz. All I did was not eat the whole day as though I have joined the Ramadhan fasting period, the only difference is that I drink water when I feel really hungry. My work doesn't provide for a much active lifestyle except for a walk up and down the ladder, to the third floor where the office is located and back down after 5pm. After work I go to a night school where I have to walk up some the ladder to the 4th floor to our classrooms (no elevator so we don't have a choice but to walk), and even before that I have to climb up an overpass and down instead of walking down the pedestrian lane. My weekday activities always involve walking a lot of ladders, but in the past I can't get to lose some weight, but instead I usually gain some, maybe because I eat too much.
Anyway, I eat at night together with my Muslim friends who actually are fasting. I drink lots of fluid before starting to eat my dinner so that I would feel almost full even though I eat a considerably small portion. Yes, I did all that and it really made me lose some weight.
Now I know that this is not something that you could maintain for a long time. Sooner or later my "discipline" is gonna snap, and I know I would be breaking this rule that I have set since this kind of diet is just too weak to maintain. Which is why I'm gonna try out this banana diet. This is gonna be my first option when I come out of this "diet" that I'm into right now.
I'm goin' bananas! hehe
BTW, my aim is to lose at least 10lbs by next friday. Do you think I can do this? I need some encouragement here... Let's do this! :)
