So after checking out the Banana diet I figured I'd give it a shot and that I may be fairly successful with it. I'll give my first go tomorrow with eating about 2/3 bananas since I love them but I have a few questions.

In every diet, carbs are looked down upon. Breads and pastas mostly. I was wondering are they limited to this diet as well? Obviously I'll be reducing my intake and increasing the hours inbetween but I just wanted to know if whole wheat breads and bagels would be okay to have, as well as various pastas.

Oh, and regarding dairy too. Are cheese and yogurt allowed, as long as they're not taken in at the same time as the bananas in the morning?

the diet did say to eat whatever u want until you're 80 percent full and don't exceed that, but for better results, it'll make more sense if there are some restrictions...
I'd advise you to pasta NOT on a daily basis mayb 2 to 3 times a week and bagels, you could try to substitute it with english muffins instead, its lower in calories and overall carb and wheat breads are totally fine, just not taken on a daily basis..
diary wise, lowfat yogurt is fine, but make sure u eat it 20 minutes later after u have taken the banana if you're still hungry during that time... low fat cheese is best
hope this helped?
