I got sick with the flu so I was out of school for a looong time! (which is annoying because I missed over HALF of the exams) and you know, how when you get bored, you wanna eat! Amazingly my pocky and other snacks survived but, at meal times I ate more than I probably should have... oh deear how will I survive summer? I'm still sick and don't have the energy to do jump rope which saddens me enough but I am scared of what Mr. Scale has to say about all this. :(

You have to stock up on only healthy stuff to eat. Things like Melons and fresh pineapple that take time to wash and cut, give you something to do and you have no excuse because there aren't more pressing things. Just don't buy any more junk. When you're hungry, have some water, and eat fruit. Then *find something to do*. Read a good book or watch an old TV series on DVD.

>_< I'll have to do the same... I HATE bored hunger. I'll be in my bedroom, then next thing I know, I'm magically by the fridge with the fridge door open. There's been so many times where I'll be at by that fridge and think, "How'd I get here?" or "Aw man, why do I keep finding myself here?"
Either I have a bored-hungry problem or some weird black hole thing in my bedroom that loops out to my kitchen.

haha, i know exactly what you mean.
since your sick you will need all the energy you can get to get better, so to boost your immunity, eat lemons, not only will it boost your vitamin C and it will take you a while to finish it but it will also help you increase your concentration and focus. make sure to drink plenty of water alongside your lemons.
lemons also help if your feeling sick because they balance the acidity level in your stomach.
there is no harm in eating chocolate because it will boost both your well being and help to relax your body but i suggest resorting to small abouts of 70-90% dark chocolate because it will satisfy your chocolate craving quicker.
during lunch and dinner, drink one glass of water. use a smaller plate instead of a regular sized one, take minimum of 20 minutes to eat (so divide your food into 5 section and take 5-7 to eat every section, you will find that by the 5th section your already too tired to eat)
research has shown that the more varied your food is, the less you will eat so at dinner, if you consume 200-300 calorie meal it might consist of: 1/2 card deck sized fish fillet (~100cal), 1cup vegetables (~50), 3/4 cup rice(~150cal)
I know ppl say you should not play with your food but actually the more longer you linger over your meal the more filled you will feel for less.
this works for me (i spend 1 1/2- 2 hours eating one yogurt break) so i hope it works for you ^__^
