A fat reducing diet is not the same as a weight reducing diet. Weight loss diets focus on losing weight and that weight doesn't necessarily have to be fat, actually it rarely is. When you want to lose weight superfast and go on one of the starvation diets you lose some fat but a lot of muscle and water. The ratio is 20:40:40. That is, if you lose 10 pounds you have lost 2 pounds of fat, 4 pounds of muscles and 4 pounds of water. Not that appealing, huh?

You lose the water because of the starvation. You use up all of your glycogen and the glycogen binds lots of water. You lose the muscle because your body is very restrictive in using its stored fat for energy. It rather use the muscle you don't use.

Imagine a diet that will burn the fat, preserve the muscle and stabilize you glycogen stores. This would mean that you could lose weight quite fast and the weight lost is what used to sit on your thighs or belly. A diet like that would help lots of us lose weight once and for all, no more yoyo-dieting.

Stop imagine and listen; the diet is here and it is available to all of us! The diet reminds of the secret bodybuilder diet. A bodybuilder cant afford to lose muscle to lose weight, right? Why should we? Even if we are not bodybuilders we still need our muscles. The muscles are great energy consumers and this mean that the more of them you have, the more fat you are able to burn.

So, what is this diet that don't require us to starve, count calories or reading labels at the store? It is called the calorie shifting diet. This diet makes sense in the expression 'food is not the enemy'. This diet actually uses food as a mean to get you thin. Eating certain types of calories will boost the level of fat burning hormones in your body and it also decrease the fat storing hormones. You could eat yourself thin.

Jennifer Olsen was a master of failing at different diets. She understood that there were more to losing weight then just going on a diet. Today she has lost nearly 50 pounds with the calorie-shifting diet and meanwhile she has finished reading 'Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle' and she is implementing what she learned into daily activities.

Water diet is different from other diet,it just requires to drink lot of water and it also remove toxins from body. It's really good to drink water for weight loss rather than work out in gym and spending money. But the only problem is most people will spend lot of time in bathroom.

I agree with Stewart..That it is very helpful and useful for everyone's body and everyone must drink at least 3-4 litres per day to keep himself fit and healthy...

I think to lose fat is the most effective way to lose weight but what is the perfect way to lose fat only instead of your muscle and water.
To seek the answer is quite difficult here on the internet as there is no relevant information present.

We retain extra water for a variety of reasons. Most commonly the cause is eating too much sodium. Hot weather, and standing for long periods can also lead to fluid retention, which can also occur as a side effect of certain medications. Water retention may also be the result of a serious medical condition, involving major organs like the kidneys, the heart, the liver, as well as the lymphatic system. Women have a higher risk of water retention due to fluctuating hormone levels. Premenstrual swelling and menopausal edema are both believed to be caused by the impact of hormones on fluid balance.

I think water diet is a very good idea for weight loss but you can not rely on water alone because body need something to eat look fit and energetic . So Fruits can be used for this purpose .
