Hi everyone,

I heard about the banana diet in a magazine and thought I would give it a try. So far I haven't succeeded much in other diets so I really hope this works. I haven't been able to lose any weight since I've had my daughter and watching the first episode of the new season of biggest loser is really making me want to stop putting any weight on.

How has everyone else been coping on the diet? Is it really taking effect?

Looking forward to hearing from people
Helena

Hi Helena.

I'm Sue from Manila, Philippines. I started this diet today (02.09.2009) and I feel dizzy today while I'm in the office. I figured out it's normal since I didn't eat my usual rice & fried whatever (bacon, spam, corned beef, fish, etc..) for breakfast. I'll give this a month and see how things work. What about you? Do you feel anything out of the ordinary?

Thanks!

Sue

Welcome, Helena. What magazine did you see the diet in?

You're allowed to eat more than one banana, and you can eat a morning snack if you wait a half hour or so after the bananas. Some people do that when they are easing into the diet.

Of course, ultimately, your weight loss depends on how much you eat, so if you continue eating the amount you always have you won't lose weight.
