Creating a banana blog is a great way to keep track of inconsistencies, and make you aware of where more self dicipline may be needed. Seeing things in print helps our minds to stay focused on our eating habits. It also helps in making sure you are feeding your body enough nutrients.

Yep, I shared your mind here, shyningwater.
With a banana blog, it will keep us from skipping any diets and feast ourselves with the unhealthy junk foods!

Maintaining a banana blog is a great idea. It surely serves as a great motivator, and you can keep track of your dieting activities. I would like to add another great purpose that your banana blog might serve. It will be of great help to those who are trying to learn more about the Morning Banana Diet. Through your blog, you can offer valuable information, based on your own experience, to other dieters.

I am having issues - BIG TIME - with the morning weight in "Today's Stats". Can someone please help me with this? It's very frustrating trying to figure out how it works.

Hi, snoprincess. You're talking about the beta Morning Banana Diet Journal, not the banana blogs, right? To enter your weight, log into the system, go to My Journal, then under Today's Stats click Edit in the title bar to the right of "Today's Stats." You can enter your weight there (you should be able to use a decimal, like 200.4 pounds). Look at the units: They will show whether you're set up for English or metric. If you need to change the units, go to My Account, and in the top section to the right will be an "English | Metric" toggle. (We may be moving that switch down into the form later.) If you're having trouble bringing up the My Account page, try a couple more times, and let us know if you're having trouble staying logged in.
We have a closed forum that's a better place for discussing issues with the new Diet Journal: You should be able to see it here if you're in the beta program. If this link (http://morningbanana.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=22) works for you, you're set. Otherwise PM me.
Anyone else who wants to get an account to the new journal PM me, or if you've joined in the past couple of weeks you may be able to go to your account page and sign up for the free beta test there.
