I try to have healthy things ready to grab for a quick snack. That way I am less likely to grab not so healthy snacks. I makes life much easier during my busy schedule.

I've been a vegan for three years. I find snacks like carrots, or a piece of fruit is convenient when I'm on the run.:)

Another great aspect of eating "natural healthy" snacks is, there rarely is any garbage. So when I go walking I pack celery, Which not only satisfies my hunger, but also quenches my thirst. If I have to throw the end of the stalk away, I do so with ni guilt of littering.:D

Also, it is so much better if you can prepare you snacks in advance. I usually have a salad washed and prepared in the fridge, so that I can have a little whenever I am feeling a little hungry. I also love tomatoes, raw carrots and celery.

Well, shyningwater. If you don't mind, you can try the sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds. These two kinds of seed are considering as the health snacks and it has been proved good for your health!

I totally forgot about seeds. I love sunflower seeds but didnt realise that they were a good for you snack. I shall have to go out and get some this afternoon when I pick the little one up from school.

I keep my refrigerator well stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables. Fresh fruits make great snacks. And I will tell you a secret about using carrots as snacks. Grated carrots make a fuller meal than eating them without grating them. I don't know how...I guess it is one of the world's unexplained miracles.
