Hello,

I'm a new entry.
I just started today to diet.:)
I ask if it is possible to drink tea and coffe without sugar during the day and after the meals.

Thank you

MR

There're a couple of threads here about tea and coffee, but yes, it seems to be O.K., but the diet's Japaness promoter frowns on coffee for its diuretic tendancies (although it's not clear why that would affect weight loss).

Steering away from coffee may be a suggestion, you are right, because it is a diuretic. And they want you to avoid dehydration. That is why plenty of water should be consumed for any diet to be safe.:)

I'm glad tea or coffee without sugar is ok. I stopped putting sugar in my tea several years ago and now have a very good blood glucose level. Before I did that I was always borderline.

Well I don't like coffe in the first place. It's almost like an addiction for those who take it at their workplace. I rarely have tea. And would like it much better without sugar.
