Hi, ellie82. The Morning Banana Diet doesn't make you change the types of food that you are eating. It does limit your breakfast, however, and it regulates the times that you can eat and asks you to stop eating before you are completely full. Of course it doesn't hurt to try to cut down on the most fattening foods that you eat.

In the original Japanese diet beer and wine were O.K. during business or social occasions. So maybe that means that you shouldn't drink by yourself, but you can still drink a bit with others. But in Japan the normal salaryman might only drink with workmates twice a week or so.

Thank you Mango that is really good to know. I think much of the banana diet is about common sense eating, rather than changing your diet altogether. That is what makes it successful. Atleast I am hoping so because I plan to make a start on it first thing in the morning.

The Morning Banana Diet is the simplest of all diets and the least expensive. You don't really have to change your food habits drastically. All you have to do is steer clear of desserts after dinner, alcohol, dairy products, and of course, ice cream. If you feel the pasta is too heavy to take while on a diet, skip it or lower the quantity. I hope this helps.
